Advanced Trauma Life Support Workshop Held in SAIL

The Skills Acquisition & Innovation Laboratory was the site of an Advanced Trauma Life Support workshop on February 21-22. The two-day workshop was hosted by the Department of Surgery's Division of Trauma, Burns, Critical and Acute Care. 

Led by division chief Dr. Robert Winchell and his surgical staff, the workshop drew participants from across the tri-state area, including attending physicians, residents and physician assistants. The program focused on all aspects of advanced trauma and life support leading to certification for health care providers.
